Infrastructure and Software Engineering Services (ISES)
Tygart is one of three prime contractors on the PBGC ISES contract. The objective of the Infrastructure and Software Engineering Services (ISES) contract is to provide software engineering support and infrastructure engineering support services under a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), performance-based contract.
The contract that provides for the issuance of individual performance based task in two service areas: (1) Solution Development, Modernization, and Enhancement (DME) and (2) Steady State/Operations and Maintenance (SS/O&M). DME services include Software Engineering Support and Infrastructure Engineering Support and include Requirements, Design, Construction, Test, and Deployment.
The ISES contract is a 5 year performance based contract with services in Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) task orders and includes 28 labor categories.
The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation is a federal corporation created by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. It currently protects the pensions of nearly 44 million American workers and retirees in more than 29,000 private single-employer and multiemployer defined benefit pension plans. PBGC receives no funds from general tax revenues. Operations are financed by insurance premiums set by Congress and paid by sponsors of defined benefit plans, investment income, assets from pension plans trusteed by PBGC, and recoveries from the companies formerly responsible for the plans.
